Vainney Halter (ヴァイネイ･ハルター, Vu~ainei Harutā) is the 4th chapter of Clockwork Planet manga series.
Summary[]
At morning, Naoto and RyuZU discuss their appearances and situation, and RyuZU mysteriously solves their financial issues. Inside the clock tower, Marie and the team discuss the dire circumstances of the purge, and deduce that the army must be doing so with the intent to shame the Meister Guild. Vainney reports to Marie that they are given an order to withdraw, angering her. Marie discusses this with Limons, who confirms their suspicions and reveals that he is a dependent of the house Vacheron, a rival to the house Breguet. She is stripped of power to prevent her from entering the clock tower and fixing the abnormality. On the way out, Marie lashes out against Vainney and calms down, declaring that if the army wants to get in her way, she will obstruct them, too. They accidentally stumble upon Naoto and RyuZU, shocked that the automaton is operational.
